Pre-owned Mac Powerbook G-4, September 25, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Apple Powerbook G4 A1025 M8859LL/A 1GhZ 640MB RAM, 60GB HDD 10.5 OS (Personal Computers) I had low expectations when looking for a laptop because I have very little money to spend, yet need a Mac. I'd never be comfortable lugging a macbook air, i.e. thousand+ dollar computer some one would want to steal. But can you say Champagne taste? I would have not been surprised to get an IBM selectric duct-taped to a donkey, and frankly, I might have even been content with that. However...
The specific purpose of this laptop is for writing, to free me up from having to sit at my (perfectly up to date) desktop mac.I work at home, and spend every waking hour sitting in front of this screen, a beautiful, lovely screen but not 48 hours a day.
I needed an alternative so that I can sit elsewhere, and so I can get portable, do the writer thing at the library, coffee shop, etc. I was NOT looking for something up to date, able to go online, but that's what I got.
In fact, the laptop is upgraded to it's max ppc degree, which is only barely behind the... Read more

So I researched and came accross this one. It came with all of the software needed to go straight to my online classes. It does have very minor and hardly noticable scatches but not on the screen. Very easy to set up and get on to my wireless network. Easy to navigate. I am usually a PC man but now I love my MAC.. Thanks! MAC FAN!!
